Readings
This Sunday’s readings, according to one liturgical Church Calendar, are the following verses for the First Reading, a Psalm, an Epistle, and the Gospel. Here are the links for you to read as you have time this week:

For this post, we’ll briefly examine the verses from Exodus, 1 Corinthians, and Mark’s Gospel.
He Knew, He Did, For You
Mark 14:12-16 (ESV)
12 And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him, “Where will you have us go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?” 13 And he sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him, 14 and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 15 And he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready; there prepare for us.” 16 And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
It still blows me away that Jesus knew every step He was going to take during His final week on Earth. He knew of the upper room, He knew of the man who knew of the room—a room already furnished and ready for the Passover meal.
Ponder that for a moment.
Don’t let familiarity get in your way. Ponder. Meditate.
Now, ponder this—He knew what was ahead of Him after He celebrated His final Passover meal with the twelve.
And, He knew He was the unique and ultimate Passover lamb, preparing the final and complete sacrifice for sins for all of eternity.
For you.
Exodus 24:6-8 (ESV)
6 And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he threw against the altar. 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.” 8 And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
“Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you….”
Jesus’ blood.
For you.
Take some time to get quiet and ponder—think about Jesus reclining at that final Passover meal with His disciples, knowing He was, and is, the final and unique sacrificial Passover lamb.
Now, take some time and ponder—that He did all of this for you, because of your sin and your need for grace, righteousness, redemption, sanctification, and eternal life with Yahweh, your creator and your Abba who cherishes you beyond what you can imagine.
The Lord God Almighty, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, wanted you back home, back in His family.
You are imago dei, made by God in His image.
May the bread and the wine, His body and blood, refresh you this Holy Thursday.
1 Corinthians 10:16-17 (ESV)
16 The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? 17 Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.
Maranatha, come Lord Jesus.
Soli Deo Gloria!

"No Greater Love"
"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13 ESV
Never had a love so great been displayed to this world before, but the moment had arrived. Now, God's Love would be proven forever. Yes, He loves people everywhere, which can't ever be denied again by anyone.
"GOD so loved the world."
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 ESV
GOD bless you all!
