Jenise, this is what the LORD has placed on my heart to say today.
"a Greater Commitment"
These are times of "a Greater commitment" to the LORD. It's time to trust in the LORD and his faithfulness. Whom shall we TRUST?
Are we seeking approval from GOD or man?
Galatians 1:10 HCSB "For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ."
Who do we serve, GOD or man?
Matthew 6:24 NLT: "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money."
For Him, or against Him?
Matthew 12:30 HCSB "Anyone who is not with Me is against Me, and anyone who does not gather with Me scatters."
The choice is ours. Who will we serve?
Matthew 4:10 (HCSB) "Then Jesus told him, "Go away, Satan! For it is written Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him."
Yes, brother James, that's a good word. Praying that we all, and every reader here, will be 100% "all in" with God. Trust Him alone, worship Him alone, and serve Him alone.
Adam was dropped into a beautiful garden with his beautiful wife JESUS was led into the wilderness n tempted of the devil. So that's why we count it all joy when we're tempted n tried
"It is because He is human, and made like us in every way, that He could do three vital things: 1) destroy the devil’s power and free those who were held in slavery by their fear of death (Hebrews 2:15); 2) become a merciful and faithful High Priest in service to God and atone for our sins (Hebrews 2:17); and 3) be the One who is able to sympathize with us in all our weaknesses and infirmities (Hebrews 4:15). Our Lord’s human nature enables Him to sympathize with our own weaknesses, because He was subjected to weakness, too. More importantly, we have a High Priest who is able to intercede on our behalf and provide the grace of forgiveness."
Also JESUS told Peter that after the sifting; when u come back to ME... strengthen your brothers. Romans 8-28 n we can't forget ol Job Satan is always present when angels report to GOD. zechariah 3

Good Sunday morning, Mark.
I like this from www.GotQuestions.org - about temptations:
"It is because He is human, and made like us in every way, that He could do three vital things: 1) destroy the devil’s power and free those who were held in slavery by their fear of death (Hebrews 2:15); 2) become a merciful and faithful High Priest in service to God and atone for our sins (Hebrews 2:17); and 3) be the One who is able to sympathize with us in all our weaknesses and infirmities (Hebrews 4:15).
