I asked the LORD, What Hope is this that we should hold it so tightly? He said it is a Hope so precious, not to be quickly forgotten, a Hope paid with His blood to redeem us. He was a Holy sacrifice that hung on a wooden cross to save our souls, to ensure our salvation for all eternity, a Hope of a future with Him, a Hope in a world not yet experienced, a land not seen, a Kingdom soon to come, a promise to be fulfilled.
Now is the day, the time to reach out to one another with encouragement, stirring up our convictions to persevere onward. The LORD has planned Great things for us. As this world becomes darker around us, we are reminded there is a brighter light leading us forward.
"Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." John 8:12
"Jesus replied, "My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going." John 12:35 NLT
Let us pray. . . Our Father in Heaven above, help us to do what we ought to do. We ask that You illuminate our path before us in a World that is growing darker by the hour. Fill us with wisdom, give us direction, and use us in these perilous times. Help us to be bold, to reach out to others, to speak Your words of encouragement and life. In JESUS Name we pray. . . Amen.
